Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and construction equipment for material transport
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload materials at construction sites, quarries, and recycling facilities
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery
- Maintain clean and well-functioning vehicles through routine maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks or heavy machinery
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor environments
- Pass background check and drug screening (DOT-compliant)
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metropolitan area roadways
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
