Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and construction hauling equipment on diverse job sites
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Transport materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt) to precise job locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Collaborate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Support fleet maintenance through basic equipment troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck experience
- DOT medical certification and clean driving record
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment (e.g., end dumps, belly dumps)
- Knowledge of Kansas City metro routes and construction zones
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
