Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and bulk goods to designated sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to meet tight delivery schedules
- Coordinate with site supervisors and team members for seamless load/unload operations
- Document delivery paperwork and report any equipment malfunctions promptly
- Maintain clean and organized truck cab and equipment at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable dump truck or heavy equipment experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with California weight regulations and route planning
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues
- Excellent time management and communication skills
