Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and bulk goods to job sites
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with DOT regulations
- Collaborate with site supervisors and coordinate material unloading procedures
- Adhere to strict safety protocols in all weather and site conditions
- Assist with minor equipment troubleshooting and basic repairs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong knowledge of Newark-area traffic patterns and construction zones
- DOT medical certification and hazardous materials endorsement preferred
- Reliable transportation and punctuality record
