Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, food, or goods within designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon request
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to update delivery statuses and communicate delays
Qualifications
- Valid Washington state driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
