Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Wichita metro area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure strapping of all items.
- Verify delivery details and obtain electronic signatures using handheld devices.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle any delivery issues professionally.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections, pre-trip, and post-trip reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid US driver's license.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery information and tracking.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
