Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated customer locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Manage delivery documentation, including bills of lading and proof of delivery forms.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including loading and unloading merchandise carefully.
- Maintain accurate logs and adhere strictly to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on vehicle type).
- Achieved a clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
