Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or goods to designated locations using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and real-time tracking updates via mobile app
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety protocols, and delivery time windows
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and handle exceptions
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures when required
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of San Jose area streets and navigation tools
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
