Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations throughout San Jose and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status and delays
- Adhere to all traffic regulations, company policies, and route optimization protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management at distribution center
- Represent SwiftLogistics with professionalism and exceptional customer service at every stop
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate manual/automatic transmission vehicles
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and smartphone delivery applications
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery schedules
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
