Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial destinations in the San Jose area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies while navigating complex city routes.
- Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring packages are delivered with a professional demeanor.
- Inspect vehicles daily for cleanliness and mechanical issues, reporting any problems immediately.
- Accurately handle paperwork, including delivery receipts and logs, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Practice efficient time management to meet delivery deadlines and route schedules.
- Handle occasional lifting of packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
