Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles on various routes within San Diego and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo with precision, ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers during every stop.
- Utilize handheld devices for route updates, proof of delivery, and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile technology.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Fluency in English (both verbal and written) for clear communication.
