Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Raleigh metro area efficiently and safely.
- Verify and record the condition, quantity, and location of goods using handheld devices.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling questions and providing excellent service.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class D) with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and ability to plan efficient delivery routes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the local depot.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging delivery information.
