Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and freight to designated addresses in the Portland metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road safety.
- Verify delivery details with the recipient and obtain digital signatures when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle interior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve any delivery issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Proficiency with smartphone apps for navigation and proof of delivery.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle suitable for delivery work.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
