Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles following all traffic laws and company protocols
- Efficiently navigate Portland metro area using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Verify order accuracy and maintain temperature-sensitive deliveries when required
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve issues professionally
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and communicate delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery windows
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to/from start location
- Pass background check and drug screening
