Responsibilities
- Safely and timely delivery of packages across New Orleans metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and mechanical condition
- Utilize GPS technology to optimize routes and ensure on-time arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution centers
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery irregularities promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans streets and neighborhoods
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation
