Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations across Minneapolis
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize travel time
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and potential delays
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and proper package handling
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar logistics role
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Minneapolis metro area and surrounding communities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent required
