Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class B delivery vehicles to transport cargo to various commercial and residential destinations within the Milwaukee metro area and surrounding regions.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any mechanical issues or irregularities immediately.
- Load and unload freight using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks, ensuring weight distribution is balanced and cargo is securely fastened.
- Interact professionally with customers and clients to verify delivery details and maintain a positive brand image.
- Accurately update digital logs and delivery status reports in real-time using our fleet management software.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required; Class A is a plus.
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and maneuvering packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld delivery devices.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate efficiently in all weather conditions.
