Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
- Inspect delivery vehicles daily for cleanliness and mechanical issues before and after routes.
- Utilize handheld technology to scan packages and update delivery status in real-time.
- Interact professionally and positively with customers, resolving any delivery issues on the spot.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure accident-free driving.
- Load and unload merchandise from the delivery van, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Complete daily logs and reports accurately and submit them on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- A clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic computer literacy and smartphone proficiency for navigation and scanning.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
