Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages and goods to designated Louisville addresses using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet daily delivery targets
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle inquiries professionally
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and update delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class B) or clean standard driver's license with 2+ years of professional driving experience
- Excellent driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Strong knowledge of Louisville metropolitan area streets and neighborhoods
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly and operate delivery equipment
- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Professional communication skills and friendly customer service demeanor
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
