Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and unload packages efficiently at each stop.
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in all weather conditions and traffic environments.
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures where required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle interior at all times.
- Interact courteously with customers, handling inquiries and resolving any delivery issues on the spot.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 5 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong knowledge of the Sacramento area and surrounding communities.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and digital logging.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
