Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated addresses in Indianapolis and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages with care and professionalism.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring packages are secure during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Manage delivery routes efficiently to meet time windows and customer expectations.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial driver's license.
- Achieved a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-100 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency with handheld delivery devices and GPS navigation systems.
