Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely to deliver freight on strict schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with dispatchers for route optimization and delivery confirmations
- Handle specialized cargo requiring temperature control or hazardous materials endorsement
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with San Jose metro area and California highway systems
- Pass DOT physical and background check requirements
- Strong communication and time-management skills
