Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) within Detroit metro area
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Manage efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery performance
- Maintain electronic logs and compliance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (Michigan or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR/local driving experience
- Clean MVR and no major preventable accidents
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Detroit metro roadways
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs occasionally
- Smartphone with data access for logging
