Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within specified timeframes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and maximize efficiency
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and inventory management as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class D Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly and navigate stairs in apartment buildings
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology systems
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
