Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for regional night routes (8 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight between Jacksonville, FL and major Georgia hubs
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer decks
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville/Georgia geography
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for occasional weekend shifts
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
