Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated residential and commercial locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Accurately handle and process delivery paperwork, including signatures and receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
