Job Responsibilities
As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company. Your primary goal is to ensure our customers receive their packages safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans, box trucks, or light trucks) to transport goods to customers.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring packages are secure and handled with care.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving any delivery issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies while driving.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Use handheld devices to log delivery status and update customer information accurately.
- Manage time efficiently to meet daily delivery targets and route requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with mobile applications.
- Reliable personal vehicle for commuting (if company vehicle is not provided).
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
