Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload goods with care, ensuring items are secured properly and undamaged.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, handling questions and complaints with empathy.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues immediately.
- Utilize handheld devices for route planning, logging deliveries, and tracking inventory accurately.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- Achieve and maintain a clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic proficiency with smartphone technology and navigation apps (Google Maps, etc.).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings, and late nights.
