Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures as required.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery activities and vehicle inspections.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve delivery issues professionally.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies strictly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a clean, valid state driver's license.
- Achieve and maintain a satisfactory driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in delivery or logistics is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and navigating GPS systems.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.
