Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring all packages are handled with care and protected from damage.
- Verify delivery details and obtain electronic signatures upon successful delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and resolve any delivery issues professionally.
- Familiarize yourself with the delivery route and traffic patterns to optimize travel time.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
- Must have a smartphone with data capabilities for route tracking and communication.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
