Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and parcels to designated drop-off locations in a timely manner.
- Practice safe driving habits to ensure the safety of drivers, pedestrians, and other road users.
- Inspect delivery vehicle for any mechanical issues or damages before and after shifts.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers during delivery and pickup.
- Utilize handheld devices to update delivery status and manage route information.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring packages are handled with care to prevent damage.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- Achieve and maintain a clean driving record with no serious violations.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-100 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and GPS navigation systems.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to solve problems on the spot.
- Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
