Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated addresses in and around Houston, TX.
- Load and unload merchandise efficiently while adhering to safety protocols to prevent damage.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and assisting clients with deliveries.
- Follow time-sensitive routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Accurately process paperwork, including delivery logs and receipts, using mobile apps.
- Represent Houston Express Logistics professionally at all times, maintaining a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar areas using GPS.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
