Responsibilities
- Execute timely and safe delivery of packages to residential and commercial clients in the Chicago metro area.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain proper customer signatures upon completion of service.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure high satisfaction rates.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, including dollies and hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery activities and mileage.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class B CDL preferred but not mandatory for entry-level).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong navigation skills using GPS and mapping technology.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
