Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in and around the Detroit metropolitan area.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages and goods to customers.
- Interact professionally and courteously with clients during drop-offs and pickups.
- Inspect vehicle condition and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Load and unload cargo safely, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to follow routes efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on satisfaction.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
