Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial customers in the Dallas area.
- Ensure all packages are handled with care and delivered according to the highest quality standards.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and resolve any delivery issues or complaints.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Utilize handheld devices for GPS navigation, logging deliveries, and updating delivery status.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with mobile applications and GPS navigation systems.
- Reliable availability to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
