Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods to customer locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery accuracy by obtaining customer signatures and providing excellent customer service.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck remains in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery records and mileage in the company's digital tracking system.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no more than 3 points).
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and flexible to occasional overtime.
