Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in various weather and road conditions.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and adhering to delivery protocols.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Update delivery status in the dispatch system accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and navigation.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
