Responsibilities
- Safely Deliver Packages: Transport goods to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring all items arrive in perfect condition.
- Customer Service: Interact politely with clients, handle exchanges or returns professionally, and maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure it is safe and operational.
- Route Planning: Optimize delivery routes to ensure efficiency and timely arrivals while adhering to traffic laws.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and incident reports as required.
- Package Handling: Carefully load and unload packages, ensuring proper placement in delivery vehicles.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A current, valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Reliable Vehicle: Your own vehicle (or access to a company vehicle) that is insured and in good working condition.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to read maps and GPS systems effectively.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using a handheld device or mobile app for navigation and order tracking.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
