Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and supplies on scheduled routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo and ensure proper handling of goods
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A/B) or clean Class C license with 2+ years driving experience
- Excellent driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time-management skills with attention to route planning and deadlines
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics training preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
