Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently over designated routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Secure cargo properly and complete all necessary delivery documentation.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) in strict adherence to DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any operational issues.
- Uphold company policies regarding safety and customer service at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL: Must hold a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or DUIs.
- Documentation: Current DOT medical card and valid CDL physical.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
