Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pick-up and drop-off processes.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic math skills for cargo documentation.
