Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within specified timeframes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and package sorting at the warehouse
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Austin metropolitan area and Texas highway systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery tracking
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
