Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and food orders to Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time arrivals
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct daily safety inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Document delivery status and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Comply with all NYC traffic regulations and parking ordinances
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
- Complete accurate delivery logs and paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with NYC neighborhoods preferred
