Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial locations across New Orleans
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions, including handling inquiries and resolving delivery issues
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and ensure on-time performance
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management when required
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to operate various vehicle types (vans, box trucks) up to 10,000 lbs GVWR
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Basic proficiency with GPS technology and mobile delivery apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work in varied weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
