Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food, packages, and retail items across Long Beach using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain exceptional customer service through friendly interactions and order accuracy
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely service while adhering to traffic regulations
- Manage inventory and payment processing for cash-on-delivery orders
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during operations
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance (or ability to use company vehicle)
- Proven experience in delivery, logistics, or customer service preferred
- Strong knowledge of Long Beach streets and surrounding areas
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps and communication tools
- Pass background check and drug screening
