Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages on time and in pristine condition
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to maximize delivery speed
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B) or clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Boston's roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient with GPS navigation and mobile delivery apps
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass background check and drug screening
