Responsibilities
- Efficiently transport food and beverage orders from partner restaurants to customers across NYC boroughs
- Maintain optimal route planning to ensure on-time deliveries while maximizing fuel efficiency
- Verify order accuracy and handle customer interactions with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Utilize our proprietary delivery app for real-time tracking and communication
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
- Represent NYC Express Logistics through clean personal presentation and vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in urban environments
- Deep familiarity with NYC boroughs, traffic patterns, and delivery zones
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles up to 10,000 lbs GVWR
- Exceptional time management and route optimization skills
- Strong communication abilities for customer interactions and team coordination
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Food Handler's Certification preferred (training provided if needed)
