Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods across El Paso County
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of service
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure safety standards and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and adjust schedules
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs/delivery locations
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
