Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses across Charlotte
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures as required
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure optimal safety and performance standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading operations while adhering to proper lifting techniques
- Adapt to changing delivery priorities and time-sensitive requests
- Represent SwiftRoute Logistics with professionalism and courtesy in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to operate cargo vans and box trucks (training provided)
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte metropolitan area roadways
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
