Responsibilities
- Execute precise, on-time delivery routes in the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area.
- Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving delivery issues with a smile and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Utilize advanced GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery efficiency and fuel consumption.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional vehicle interior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Current DOT medical card and a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) without serious infractions.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience in logistics or transportation.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management and route-planning skills with a focus on punctuality.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging hours, tracking mileage, and updating delivery status.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as business demands.
